As a passionate advocate for children’s well-being, I specialize in working with children , helping them navigate challenges and express emotions in a healthy way. Whether your child is dealing with worry, sadness, social skills, emotional regulation, or ADHD, I’m here to support their growth and development.
My approach…
With a background in education and social work, I focus on fostering the whole child. I incorporate mindfulness and calming strategies to help children through their big feelings and encourage positive behaviors. My goal is to equip children with the skills they need to communicate effectively, advocate for themselves, and thrive in all areas of life.
My education and experience includes…
…a Master’s in Education from Sacred Heart and a Master’s in Social Work from Howard University.
As a local elementary school teacher, I’ve had the pleasure of teaching 1st, 3rd, and 4th graders, nurturing their growth and development in the classroom, and I bring that same passion for working with students to my counseling practice.
I am a Licensed Master’s Social Worker (LMSW) in Maryland.

I work with primarily with children between the ages of 3-12.
What sort of challenges can you help me with?
I am equipped to assist you with a wide range of challenges your child is experiencing such as worry, sadness, social skills, emotional regulation, or ADHD.
Where are you located?
Tender Hearts Counseling is in North Bethesda, Maryland and I can support Maryland residents through remote streaming sessions for people located anywhere in Maryland!
