We’ll begin with a phone call where your concerns can be expressed and one of our counselors can talk to you to determine if an intake appointment should be scheduled.

The intake appointment is 60 minutes which will allow you to express your reasons for wanting to engage in therapy and ask questions, without feeling rushed. This appointment will look different for everyone, and your therapist will determine the best way to guide the appointment when meeting with you.

By the end of the appointment, both you and your counselor will be clear on what you want to get out of counseling, and you will have created and discussed the game plan to get you there with your counselor.

We have two offices now. Tell us which one you’d prefer and we’ll go from there. Free parking at both.

Families come to us from Bethesda, Rockville, Potomac, Chevy Chase, Kensington and Silver Spring, and from McLean, Vienna, Tysons Corner, Great Falls, Falls Church, Oakton and Arlington.
